Hi, this is BenZen with another submission. I finally switched from M10 to ZEN drafting and find it's not that much deeper. Sure M10 is all about bombs, but ZEN is all about racing. I love the landfall and allies mechanics tough, so I play to stay into ZEN a bit. (more...)

Hello. I started playing Magic around the time Judgment came out. I mostly draft, though I also enjoy making low-powered 'combo' decks. My favorite card is Artificial Evolution (is that the Magic equivalent of "What's your sign?") and my favorite block was either Kamigawa or Time Spiral.

I haven't played much since the first set of Shards of Alara, though I have drafted ZZZ about 12-15 times now. My rating has hovered in the 1750-1800 range, and I'm at 1775 right now. I always play Swiss drafts, since I like to be guaranteed 3 matches with my draft. (more...)

This is my first time submitting to this site I have been visiting it for about a month or so now. I finally got up the courage to submit my mediocre picks for criticism (hopefully constructive) as I want to get above 1600 and hopefully higher. Before I hopped in the queue my rating was 1568. My rating has dropped from 1610 to 1555 recently as I lost interest in ZZZ drafts and maybe forced colors. Here we go I hop in the SWISS queue(that is my level). (more...)

Hello my name is Ice717. I have playing magic since the beginning of time, or at least since Ice Age. I was too young back then to truly grasp how intricate Magic was and took a Hiatus for about 4 years. I got back into it around Time Spiral block and have been following this site ever sense. I got a buddy of mine into Magic and we love drafting so what better to give back to the drafting community than submit to this site. I would like to consider myself a decent drafter, I make more mistakes about power of cards over sending signals and reading signals.
