Have you guys been to raredraft.com yet? If not, check it out. It's another draft submission site, but the best part, you can embed drafts that you submit there so that can appear on other websites. Let's face it, Daniel Too is a genius.
This is going to be an easier and more efficient way of doing draft submissions in the future. Here is a quick instruction guide:
- First, sign up for an account. If you already have a gmail account, you're half way there as the site uses Google Accounts for it's login.
- Once you are logged in, there is an Upload link at the top of the screen, hit it.
- The Upload page has a button for browsing to the exact draftcap file you are going to submit.
- Please create a Title and, if you like, add a short Description.
- The site will convert the file and produce a slick interface. While looking at your draft, you will be able to go through each pick and add a description to your pick.
- Once all the relevant picks have been described, select the text in the "URL" window to the right.
- Now when you use the draft submission page, simply Title it like it was done before and in the Content section add an introduction for your draft then paste the code from the URL window below your introduction.
- Below the URL link, add your game descriptions and you're done.
This is what you will get:
Picks with commentary will have a green quotation mark in the lower left portion of the window, clicking that will produce the text for that pick. Also, clicking any individual card will zoom the graphic in case you need to read the text. When you hit the "Next Pick" button, the description text will appear and the pick will be highlighted. Hitting the button again will move you forward in the draft.
You will need to have Flash enabled in your browser, but with the power of this software, it's worth it.
The comments will still be on the page below. I will be updating the Submit Your Draft page instructions with this option, eventually.
Rather than publish an article for half a day, I thought it would be fair to wait until tomorrow so that the submission gets it's due. I have been busy and didn't get to editing an article for today and only just realized it. Back on schedule for tomorrow.
Plus, I'm a little lite on submissions. I know there are a bunch of people out there who haven't submitted, would love to see some new blood as would everyone else.

I wanted to make everyone aware of some small changes I made to the site. I keep getting SPAM submissions and submissions from people not yet registered so I made a change to reduce SPAM and prevent accidental submissions.
I have removed the "Submit Your Draft" link from the Site links on the left. I have replaced it with a "Submit Draft" link right above the "Logout" link on the right side tool bar. The new draft submission link will only appear after you have logged in. The rules for submitting have not changed and are outlined thoroughly on that page, as always.
I have also updated the FAQ page to reflect the change above and I have updated the Project Guidelines page to be more in line with how I now run the project these days.
Thanks for reading,

Now Accepting submissions for Tuesday and beyond!
Guys, I had a couple submissions come in today that did not have user names to go along with the drafts. The content looks great and I would love to use it, but I can't make a guess as to who submitted it.
If you submitted content recently, please email me your draftbetter.com user name so that I can attribute the article to the author. Also, give me something to identify the article as yours as I don't want to get this one wrong.

I want to thank those that have submitted content and let everyone know that I have user submitted articles scheduled to be published starting on Tuesday going every day until next Monday. So if you have submitted content, look for it this week.
I even have another article for the following Tuesday. That's not to say that I have near enough submissions. I have had to turn down one submission due to the writer not following the rules so badly that I was unable to rescue his content. So keep the submissions coming, you guys will see some good stuff this week and, I hope, for quite a while longer.

Constantly, since I started this site, I get asked; "Can I submit content for your site?"
Before today, I had to decline as I had no way to safely give access to anyone so that they could write an article and I did not have the time to go through and edit article submissions while still working fifty plus hours a week.
All that has changed with a recent software release for WordPress. I have been keeping an eye out for a tool that would do just what it does, allow users to submit articles. I almost launched this feature a couple weeks ago but discovered that this new software broke my card tagging software. I worked with the developers of these two software pieces and an update was recently posted that fixed all the problems.
As you read this, you should notice a new link under "Site Links" up on the left column called "Submit Your Draft" Simply follow the instructions on the page and I will publish them as often as I can. I'm not PureMTGO so I won't be able to pay you or anything. But this is a quick and easy way to brag about an awesome draft you were in, or discuss a particularly difficult decision you had to make.
I'm not sure how many submissions I will get, but if I get enough, you might see new content on the site every day. I am looking for the regular commentators here to get some in as I want this site to continue the discussion of new drafts even though I can only do one per week.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at draftbetter[at symbol]draftbetter.com and I will be sure to email you if your submission is posted.
I hope you guys blow me away.

Hey everyone, I've been quite sick this weekend and add to that the fact that I had to work both days put me in a bad situation. I did get a draft in but was too exhausted to finish the article. It will be up some time this week.
For the readers outside of the United States, Monday is an American holiday(Labor Day) so my normal posting will be up tomorrow.
