Just wanted to do a quick post and see if anyone else had had a chance to play with the new rules yet. I myself did a Swiss draft on my other account to see if anything had drastically changed. I drafted a fast GWr deck with four battle tricks.

I have to say that I got half way through round two before I even remembered that the new rules were in place. The games played out identically to how they would have before the rules change. Of course, my deck was bonkers fast and I usually killed them before they got two creatures on the board for a double block situation and the four battle tricks I had, 2X Sigil Blessing and 2x Colossal Might, were the kind of tricks I wanted to play before damage anyway.

Still, I was encouraged that Magic: the Gathering has not in fact been ruined.  Anybody have a different experience?

Sorry, not another draft this time.  I feel the need to share my thoughts on the new rules for M2010.  If you haven't heard by now, the people who decide the direction of Magic have decided to shake things up a bit.  I'll give you guys my opinion and I hope to see your comments on the matter as well, after the link.
