Let me start of by saying I am very average if not, flat out poor drafter. This is why I primarily play Swiss, as it lets me keep playing because its not hard to win 2 rounds. At least I came back to playing magic after stopping at Lorwyn, and my rating dipped to 1508 at one point during ACR. After many hours spent reading, and practicing I was able to get my rating up to 1624 with Zendikar. I'm not a huge fan of the set, its really low on playables. But I do enjoy the the flavor of the set. Feel free to criticize away, its mainly why I am submitting this article. Constructive criticism would be preferred, but if you just want to spam "URBAD" than that's certainly an option. (Actually, it's not. Ed.) (more...)

As I've oft said triple Zendikar is about aggro(duh), sometimes finding the aggro deck amidst the stream you're panning in is difficult. My losses in this set usually come when there are no clear signals from my right and I'm forced to make due with defensive cards or just fairly weak ones. Let's see how this one went. (more...)

Hey guys first post here and long time reader. I love the site and always find great input. My current rating is around 1700 but I've capped at 1855 from RRR (unstoppable in that). My rating is much lower now thanks to Comcast, beer, and M10. About this draft I make a very interesting 2nd pick which shouldn't hinder my next picks because I planned on getting much more removal from black and was biased towards landfall abilities from green. Hey, my username is zizek and this is from a late night ZZZ 8-4 draft. My rating stabilizes around 1750, plus or minus 50 depending on how well I can mana screw my opponents and open Vampire Nighthawks. That said I think there’s a couple of interesting spots in this draft and I end up with a relatively unusual deck, so I hope you enjoy. (more...)

Hey everyone, I'm Zeranox and this is my first published draft walkthrough, I've done a few walkthroughs before but never posted them anywhere because there wasn't really a great place until now. I do not have much experience with Zendikar so I headed to the Swiss queue to make sure I would at least get to play some games.
