Hello there. It’s supafrey with my first posted draft. I was impressed with the help draftbetter was providing and figured forcing myself to write one of these up would plug some leaks in my game. I’m coming in to this 4322 Alara block draft with a rating of 1832 which is roughly around where I usually find myself. I have done three or four of these alara block drafts since they retooled the boosters and won my last one with a very aggressive esper deck. My favourite shard is typically either bant or esper depending heavily on my first few picks. Since this is a 4322 I typically raredraft anything worth more than a couple of tickets, which I recommend to any player seriously considering trying to sustain their account for free. (more...)

Hey guys. This morning, I hopped in a ZZW swiss. I ended up winning out the draft. I know Win/Win/Win drafts are not that interesting, but DB mentioned he was low on content, so I figured I would submit it anyways. I think there is certainly room for discussion on picks. Hello, all, and welcome to my first draft submission! I've been reading DB's site for more than a year, and I figured that it's time to give back. I'm a perennial 1700 Limited player, and that is probably due to the fact that I only join Swiss queues. Nothing wrecks my day like using up 2 tickets and 3 packs, only to sometimes wind up with 3 (virtual) wrappers. Anyway...on to the picks! (more...)
