Hey guys, just wanted to turn you on to a new product that has become available for those of us that play Magic of the non-Online type. The Dragon's Egg is a deck bag on steroids. This product is designed by the fine people at Power9Pro.com. You can tell that these guys are gamers. The bag is sturdy and compact yet is able to carry almost as much stuff as some of the other bags, all while looking like a product meant for Magic players.
I bought mine a few weeks ago, after looking at their product online. I found that it had what I wanted as a Magic player. It's a much more compact bag than my last one and looks sharper to boot. When I received it in the mail a few days later, I was impressed by the quality and feel of the thing.

First, it feels solid, it's got a nice weight to it. I opened up the bag to find out why it felt so nice and discovered that the actual deck holding piece inside the bag is made of solid plastic. Not foam, not cardboard and not hollow. That one piece is probably two thirds of the entire weight. Yet, the thing is not too heavy at all. I am totally sure that any cards placed in the deck slots will be protected from any normal and most abnormal situations it might get into.

Speaking of deck slots, they are designed to be big enough to hold a sixty card deck with a fifteen card sideboard all while already in the plastic sleeves that we all use. It's a really good design. Of course, it fits other stuff too like extra packs and can be used for counters or dice or whatever you like.
It's got a pocket of one type or another on each side. One open mesh pocket on the front, two side pockets that have a Velcro closure and one open pocket in the back. Pretty much all of the pockets can be used for a variety of different things. I store land for my draft decks there as well as a life counter and some glass beads that I use as +1/+1 counters and tokens.

Next up we have the top compartment. It's quite large because of it's curved design and can hold yet another deck in a box if you want it too, or other stuff like an mp3 player or your phone. Heck, you could probably throw a sandwich in there or a bag of chips if that's your thing. All I'm saying is, like a Grixis Charm, it's versatile.
Lastly, the strap. Of course, it's removable if you don't want to use it. And, it's adjustable so that you can find the length that is most comfortable for you. It has a shoulder spot for anti-slip and is as comfortable as any other product of it's type that I have used.
You will see an add for their site on the image page for each draft pick and game scenario. If you are in the market for a new bag, I strongly encourage you to check out the product as you will not be disappointed by the quality or the design.
This is more of a testimonial than an add for this product. I offered to do this for Power9Pro because I like their product. They did not ask me to do this article, I just would like to see them do well offering a quality product specifically for us Magic players.
